Other than the Southside "public urination zone", I really don't think Pittsburgh has been all that smelly since the 1970's. I remember, as a child, riding past the J&L steel mill next to the parkway and having a contest with my brother to see who can hold their breath the longest. If you want smelly, try Cleveland!

That mayor was Richard Caliguri...I probably mangled the spelling.

Well, I have never scene her, ahem, work...but for some reason I knew about her, Jude Law and their teenaged nanny.

PaMomhangsherhead...and admits she visits trashy, Hollywood gossip sites.

I can say with no reservation that Pittsburgh is the most beautiful city I have seen anywhere in the USA, and I've been from one coast to the other many times. Brendan Gill, architecture writer for The New Yorker said in 1990: "The three most beautiful cities in the world are Paris; St. Petersburg, Russia; and Pittsburgh.

Are you kidding me?

I thought Easton and Scranton were the most beautiful cities in PA.

No I'm not. Are you kidding me? Have you stood on Mt. Washington and looked over Pittsburgh?

No kidding Pittsburgh is great but you've probably never been out of Maine. I've been to both places and would rather live in Pittsburgh. The scenery is sometimes ugly in Pittsburgh but the people are always great. In Maine it's the other way around.

Lived in Washington, D.C., Dallas, Boston, Hyannis and now Maine. Have been to every State with the exception of Alaska. Served my Nation and my tour of duty included...Ft. Ord, Ca., Ft. Knox, Ky., Ft. Benning, Ga., Ft. Belvoir, Va. and the DMZ.

So, yea, I've been "out" of Maine. And to even compare Pittsburgh to the State Of Maine means you've never left your trailer in the Allegeny

So you've never BEEN to Pittsburgh but you're an expert on it? Maine is by and large a beautiful state particularly Camden but Portland is quite the dump.
