Tiger eyes glow soft
amid the shadowing trees
by still waters deep

I weep over stones
piled to mark the sad past
under a pale moon
________________________
Swords clash heroes fall
wisdom is deserted then
outside my garden

Eyes deep as her love
speak of those moments now past
as white cranes take wing
