Doggie update.....she has no platelets to speak of and her RBC count is way down. The end is coming, but she is so perky and lovable that the doc said he couldn't put her down yet. They are continuing the antibiotics, steriods, and IV in hopes she can turn around. I met my husband down there and we walked her and played with her. Hubby took the leash and I carried the IV bag. She is getting better care and love than Terry Schiavo got from her husband. What a world we have.
The vet assistant said that she was the best cocker spaniel he had ever seen - calm and loving......I hate to tell him she would be giving him a much bigger run for his money last week before this started. I can see the toll it is taking on her.
very sad, ti. my heart is aching for you guys, as i look at my sleeping loosh here at my feet : (
She may well be on the verge of making a very big transition: As big a transition as you will be making from "when hope remains" to "when all hope is gone."
We will be with you while hope remains.
And we will also be with you when it is gone. Cherish these moments.
Cherish all moments.

I echo Bob's words to you.
