It's too bad this whole "applying the laws of society to athletes" thing probably won't become a trend.

How do you figure? Athletes don't get any special treatment - if anything they are more aggressively prosecuted. The Vikings "loveboat" incident is a good example - if they hadn't been professional athletes nothing would have ever come of it.

The only "break" athletes have is that they usually are able to afford good legal representation.

Koren Robinson being the only one of a recent spate of happens-to-be-athletic turds to face any sort of serious consequences for his actions.
