My first comment today was at 09:10:55 CDT. Give me a break, I had to flirt with the new (illegal alien) Mexican receptionist. She might not speak English, but she's a honey.

This is a time honored tactic by many.It is and we pretty much know who they are now. It's always the same ones.

It's always the same ones. Consistency is further evidence of conspiracy.

I'm glad to see Congress finally got their radar
working on this issue. Way overdue.

"widening 7.63 miles"
Whoop-de-doo
How much money was skimmed?
To: 1rudeboy; texastoo
Yes, give him a break, lol....I haven't read through the entire thread, but so far he hasn't called for reinforcements OR dropped the owners name. Yet.

"Release of the FOIA information and now a Resolution being requested by Congress certainly ought to warrant that these discussions on North American Union / SPP be taken seriously and remain in 'news' rather than the usual immediate move to 'chat'?"
Well, how long did it take this time? Moving the thread only encourages the thread to be divebombed and the harassment to begin.

When I ping someone to a thread or comment I find interesting or humorous, it's "calling in reinforcements," but when others in their very first comment to me cc: a bunch of people it is not? Why the double standard?

This is Louisiana after all. Pick a figure.
Widening 7.63 miles was only a portion. It's nearly 52 miles from Leesville to Alexandria. IIRC, they were allocated $22 million for that little piddly part of the highway.

"time honered tactic"
Like spreading mis-info. When will you be providing the documentation that I35 is covered by a non-compete clause?
To: Ben Ficklin
Stop harassing other posters and dive-bombing the thread. [chuckle]

I always feel like Rodney Dangerfield on these threads. :-(
To: 1rudeboy
I'm still looking for a kook to debate and all I get is someone talking about widening 7 miles of road.
To: Ben Ficklin
A kook? Coming from the likes of you I'm honored. Thank you.
Haven't you ever heard the expression, a journey of a thousand miles begins with one step? It might be 7 miles to begin with, but, it ended up 52. Each town doing it's own part for the corridor.
Here comes the name calling from you and your ilk.
