Has some thing like this happen to you? (Cell Phone Photo)

Yesterday Oct 1, around 2:30 PM I got a delivery from my corner deli I am limit in mobility so I don't go out much.

This delivery man has come to my door quite a few times. He is a man of few words most of the delivery guys are from Mexico. This young man I don't know where he is from accept he has strange mannerism or body language seems stress a lot of contortions, uneasy in movement.

I really resent PC world we live in, years ago we could have said this is not accepable.

Well yesterday he came to my door with a Cell phone photo, he seem to be listening but never said a word.

Then you he would cup the phone in his hands and was looking in it and then put it back to his ear and listen some more he seem to repeat this again.

than he seem to press another button and listen again and than he closed it all the while no conversation!

I am concern and wonder if others have had some thing like this happen to them.

One’s mind can run wild being the fact I am on the net and can tick off people and not beware of it!

BTW I don't use cell a phone and really am not that familar with them!

...You had a genuine concern....I would wonder the same thing if I were unfamiliar with the new gadgets on the market.....plus the rudeness of the delivery man.

I can understand your concern. If I had limited mobility, I'd be concerned as well. He was probably just text messaging as another has said, but, he was very rude.

You're not being paranoid, but it does seem like the rude delivery guy was up to something normal, no covert.

I quit waitressing this year because of cell phones. I'll never again work in a restaurant where there are no limits on cell phone use.

So You are trying to take their order while they are glued to the phone.

I have waited in my life and you know others are waiting for you and these jerks are inconsiderate and indifferent to what is going on around them!

Cell Phones are very mesmerize, the very nature of them, and the cost, makes people more attentive to the phone, than to those in front of them!

Cells in restaurants are the worst, especially for us late-night servers. People mis-order food because they won't end a conversation while ordering ("But I meant no onions!"); they carry on their half of the conversation really loud, because of the noise of a crowded setting, and some of the snippets of conversation I've heard have been just plain vulgar; they take forever ordering because they're trying to do two things at once, and then they complain that their food took so long...just awful.

It wasn't the complete lack of manners that made me quit, though. There was a regular at my restaurant who asked me out every time he came in (I'm married, and I told him so), always insisted on being seated in my section, always commenting on my appearance, not really unusual yadda yadda that servers put up with sometimes. Then another waitress told me that El Creepo had taken around a dozen pictures of me with his phone, and that he'd taken a picture of me getting into my van after a shift. That's just freak behavior. I let the store manager know and she did nothing, apart from letting me know I was overreacting. No job is worth that crap.

Taking your photo with out permission is crossing the Line how do you know if it not some Fatal Attaction nut?

I would really be concern that what this person was doing?

Some times I pay with check and you never know what these folks are up to could be used for Idenity theif who know's?

Out of all these men only a women spoke up as how to nip this in the bud! I really never was raised to be assertived so I don't think of responding in that way, thank you!:)

So don't say "damn" ((((blush)))), but telling or asking him to put it away while he is at your house isn't being too assertive. Convenient stores and another small shop down the street are putting signs on their doors saying "NO CELL PHONES".
