You know that and I know that, but most fans just remember that the Rams had the incredible offense that outscored people.
The Bengals as a team, on a scale of 1 to 10, are a 6 at best. The Patriots, at the very least are an 8 ... every once and awhile a lesser team will step up and beat a superior team, especially at home ... today the Bengals showed that averages prevail in the NFL, and bottom line, superior teams will find a way to win ... especially if they've had a recent loss. The Patriots have not had two consecutive losses in several years ... the Bengals the "who dey" team are probably asking themselves what happened ... maybe we should get rid of the "who dey?" BS and win important games (especially at home).
Tigers have great pitching too. But what a choke job to lose the division on the last day of the season.
Another Bears FG. 13-3 Bears. They've missed a couple of chances to really put Seattle in a big hole.
If they pitch like they have this year then they certainly have a shot at beating the Yanks.
Who has more confidence right now...Cardinal or Met fans?
The 49ers of the Joe Montana era had a very good defense, but the offense was so dominant that they get lost in the shuffle.
I'm guessing the Dodgers and Padres are licking their chops right now. The AL is more up in the air...
They were doing the Who Dey thing when they sucked.
I doubt a loss, especially in a year that they WILL make the playoffs will change that.
Yup. Montana's greatest moment (the TD pass to Taylor that won SB 23 over Cincy) never would have happened if the 49er defense hadn't shut down the Bengals offense that day.
I'm guessing the Dodgers and Padres are licking their chops right now. The AL is more up in the air...
No doubt. Fox is dreading the idea of a west coast NLCS.
another pick. I wonder if Marvin Lewis can switch the Bengals D for the Bears D.
well that comprises about 70% of your NFL fans there.
LOL
Maroney seemed to be running angry today. I think it may have had something to do with Minnesota getting beat by Michigan last night.
This season is totally insane.
How's it feel to be in a division with only two other competitors?
And the Concy nose tackle not breaking his fibula and tiba into a million little pieces....
Ugh
I don't know if angry is the word.
Maybe more aggresively.
Let's remember that he probably saw holes today he hasn't seen since College.
