Divisional games can be closer just because the teams know each other so well.

No, Marvin sat him today as a disciplinary move but not sure about his future. THe NFL COmmish might have something to say about it.

I just hope that the Bengals can bounce back after this loss as well as the Pats did theirs. They have a bye next week so plenty of time to stew over it.

I heard on the Pats radio pre game show that there was some pressure from the league office.

Well you've got Tampa coming out of the bye so that should be a win. After that it's going to get very rough.

never a guaranteed win in the nfl. we'll see--plenty of room for improvement. it's sad because if you said before the season started that we'd be going into the bye 3-1 I would have taken it. But after this bombardment (and the ravens sitting at 4-0) it doesn't seem good enough.

Chris Henry was benched today by Marvin Lewis for disciplinary reasons. There are reports the Bengals were pressured by the commissioner to do so.

Yeah, Chad talked some smack this week and his team got pwned in return.

Without those late game TOs the Bengals could have made a late game run though. Plus, Pats have looked bad on offense the past few weeks so I guess they were due to break out.

I said before the year that I wanted the Pats to be 3-1 by the Miami game. I thought the Pats one loss was going to be today. Oh well that's the NFL for you.

chad always talks smack. He hasn't had a great season so far.

There were moments the game was close but then the pats opened it up and never looked back. What can I say? Not really a competitive game and it didn't really come down to any moments--the Bengals just got owned today as you put it.

FOrtunately just 1 loss, but man oh man was it ugly.

For talking smack? There has to be something else going on here...

When the Pats got the ball back after Cincy made it 14-13 I said to my brother this is where the Pats are going to win or lose the game. That TD drive was where they really took control.

It was very important for them to keep Seattle out of the end zone.

No I believe it has more to do with his off the field incidents.

It should give Lewis something to stick in their faces. Their off field antics are going to hurt and it shows a lack of dedication to winning. Today they played a team that simply doesn't pull that crap. The Pats might not be the team they were in 2003 and 2004 but they have to be considered the standard for how a team should operate.

Chad actually got Belichick to get in on the trash talking before the game which is something given the lack of humor that guy shows.

Did you have a problem with Dillon's TD celebration?
