Had the same problem. Went to dermatologists for two years. They always started by asking if I was allergic to any foods. I said no.

Then one of my dogs got a rash and the vet put him on a lamb and rice diet. I looked at all the dog foods that were advertised for skin problems. They all had one thing in common. No beef.

So I stopped eating beef and lots of problems, including intestinal polyps, went away.

I now limit my self to occasional "organic" beef, and once in a blue moon, a big greasy cheeseburger. I just can't resist.

Thank you all for your input. He could probably stand giving up beef. I'd be hard pressed if it were me.

Mad Ivan, is that because of Mad Cow disease? I know a Brit who said he can't give blood because of it!
