Most of Slack development takes place in the U.S.

The parts may be foreign, but the car is assembled in the U.S.

So then by that analogy, you don't drive GM, Ford, or DaimlerChrysler--as the parts for those cars are made in various places.

So, how do you get around? By foot?

I have a GMC with a sticker in the door well with a picture of the great state of Texas, that says "Built in Texas by Texans". While that sold me on the vehicle as soon as I saw it, obviously it means little to you since you've admitted you wouldn't care if the sticker was a map of China that said "Build in China by Slaves" so long as you liked the product and thought you got a good deal on it. There's really nothing else to say, is there.
