When Bill Clinton made his speech to the Labour Party conference, he bamboozled a few by finishing with the word "Ubuntu".

LOL pleasing yourself has nothing to do with principle, not surprised you think it does. Principle is about understanding all the implications of your decision, and making the proper choice based on morals or ethics. According to you, principle would be dumping your sewer in the river, because it was the easiest and cheapest thing for you to do, and it went downstream away from you anyway. As for your home improvement question, it would mean buying something with a "Made in the USA by Americans" sticker on it instead of a "Made by Chinese Slaves" one, likely at a higher cost. Sticking to principles usually requires some form of personal sacrifice, if you can see past yourself long enough to bear the thought.
The sad thing with that analysis is that it runs on incorrect stereotypes. IMNSHO, the Dims are far more beholden to big business than the Republicans are. Republicans also are supposed to believe in people helping themselves, with the private people, businesses and organizations (and not the government) giving their time and money to make America better. That's exactly open source software.
And I guess you're still to chicken to respond on the issue of proprietary licenses I mentioned earlier.
I see no need to further respond to your sillyness whatsoever, you've already been completely discredited by my link showing you creating titles of threads here that admitted DNC ties to Linux, so your denials made now are worthless and obvious trickery. Maybe these kids who don't even understand the word "principle" will continue to fall prey to your nonsense, but obviously I saw through it from the very beginning.
That hasn't been what the debate with Iggle has been about.
Linux has been and it's fun to point that out too him.
"Your own personal comfort and choices will not be influenced by principle, at any time. Nor do you wish to be bothered with such concerns, so long as your own personal needs are being met"
It isn't about my personal needs or comfort. It's about having other options on the table. For the record, I'm not the only one using my computer--I let others use it as well. Surely I have to take their needs into consideration.
The truth is that here, Linux also meets their needs. Because using Linux was clearly the best option, I went with it.
"We hear the same shortsided rationalizations all the time, by those willing to admit it, through their own indifference or naivety."
Two Points here:
I. So I'm simply rationalizing because I refuse to pay up the azz and use M$? and
II. Said like a true shill.
"You should read up on Crowley, "do what thy wilt", the guy had no principles and ended up being a double agent for multiple governments, and with your plans of becomming a lawyer, sounds like a perfect choice of study, so you can learn more about yourself than you obviously know yet."
Whatever, dude.
So I'm going to become an international agent and commit treason against the U.S. and espionage against multiple nations simply because I choose to use Linux over Micro$oft?
What a hoot.
I think he just likes the penguin
LOL
That'd make a funny tagline, but it'd probably get that person zotted...8^)
So he'd have to admit to sleeping on the job or pulling a Homer Simpson...8^)
Very little, and none in my office. While I was at the AF IT Conference last month I never heard the word once. We use Microsoft and Sun almost exclusively, which you've already had to admit is correct. Poor Mikie, forced by the USAF to use American products against his supposed better judgement. /SARCASM
LOL
What do you mean by forced loser?
Hell I hadn't used LINUX nearly as much as I have since I've been working for the AF.
Of course, complain about OSS, but shield your eyes from the abuses of proprietary software licenses, especially that of your beloved Microsoft. You're still to chicken.
you've already been completely discredited by my link showing you creating titles of threads here that admitted DNC ties to Linux
Discredited? So says the guy who didn't know what nmap is, and actually bought that Fyodor is a Russian? You're quite entertaining. I score one more in Whack-a-Troll.
BTW, what link?
LOL the last time we had this discussion about Linux you said you used "Trusted Workstation" which isn't even Linux, you probably don't even know the difference! Plus I remember the time you claimed to be an admin then admitted you didn't even have the password! LMAO!
You're referring to your last attempt at playing games, where you went on and on about how great some Russian hacker was in your defense of foreign hackers. I didn't bite then and I'm not biting now, but I'm sure you'll carry on with your normal nonsense.
Nope, it was you testing connections to FR from work, I knew better than even try. Face it, you need to stick to your "Jim Rome Ping List", where you at least have a chance of getting something right LOL.
nah I should take that back.
even Micro$$$$oft isn't dumb enough to have you as a shill.
You bit, railing against trusting this "Russian" hacker who is really an American. You didn't even know about the tool.
And you can't use the obscurity defense since he's so famous that a Google for "fyodor" brings him up first, ahead of his namesake, the famous Russian author Fyodor Dostoevsky.
