My husband's school that he teaches at bought 3 theatres worth of tickets for a pre-showing of the inspiring new film called "FACE THE GIANTS". It is about a football coach in the south (Georgia) facing failure at all levels and how he, his wife, his team and the school begin to live out their faith. It is an inspiring film and as a Christian I was overwhelmed at the unashamed use of prayer, Bible reading and straight out talk of Christianity throughout this film. If you are not a Christian, it is still a highly recommended film that unless you hate God, or hate yourself or hate others you need to see. And if you are in the last category, you REALLY need to see this film!!! AWESOME *****
California - it figures

Great clip. Not playing anywhere near me. Guess I'll buy the DVD.
That's why I love living in San Antonio -- a theater two miles from my house is showing it. I *think* my pastor used an advance clip from the film to make a sermon point. Without giving too much away, is there a scene where the team captain crawls down the field with another player on his back?
I saw this movie this weekend with my wife, my 10 yr. old son and his friend. The movie was awesome. I cannot recommend it enough.
While the film and sound quality isn't like a big budget blockbuster, the content is. As the movie progresses, it just keeps getting better and better. The scriptwriter did a fantastic job with continually hitting us with good feelings on top of good feelings.
God is praised throughout the movie and the action is fun to watch.
Four words for you.....GO SEE THE MOVIE
I would tell you more, but I don't want to spoil anything.
