The Astros are the one time that could ruin it for the Mets, I agree. I don't think any team would want to face them in the playoffs.

Actually, the Mets are in trouble at the moment. They have lost 7 of thier last 8. The last 2 games by a margin of 25-3. Martinez is now looking to be out for the playoffs, Glavine has been rocked for the last month, hernandez is getting shelled every other start, and the rest of thier pitching staff is putting up numbers in the 5-6 ERA range.

The Astros definately are the team with the pitching to totally shut the Mets down, but right now Philly, SD and LA all match up very well with NY.
