I wish Terry had not taken the interview. Barbara
Walters has been exploiting dysfunction and grief
for profit her entire career.

Thanks, mom4kittys.
I'm TiVoing it.
Apparently Terri said in an interview that they never expected an ANIMAL to hurt Steve...I can't understand that. Did they think he was immune, too quick, or what? I'm afraid he just became too cocky. Those are WILD ANIMALS.
It's a terrible shame.

I read somewhere that after his mother died, he thought he may die the same way--in a car crash.

I wish Terry had not taken the interview. Barbara Walters has been exploiting dysfunction and grief for profit her entire career. I agree, and haven't seen BW in years, and I wish Terri hadn't decided to use her! I can't stand the woman.

I think he said that in one of his programs, too. One of his retrospectives that I just watched this month...

Leave it to the old bag, Barbra Wawa, to try and bolster HER ratings at the expense of someone else. I wish Terri had been more selective and not accepted the vultures interview invitation.

It's heartbreaking to see the emotional pain on Terri's face but then she gets animated and the love and "blessings" she had with Steve and the kids begin to break through. It was a roller coaster ride with Steve and would repeat it in a nano second. It was a perfect match. They lived and loved more in that short 14 years than some do in a lifetime.

So far it's excellent. Keep the kleenex close. I'm bawling just listening to Terri reminisce about their life together. She's a brave girl to do this show so soon after his death, but I'm sure she wants to tell the world how much she loved her husband and how special he was.
