I guess it depends on your location. I have had the most trouble-free service/reception in the last several years - ever since we switched to Cingular from Alltel. Far fewer dropped calls.

On the other hand, my Mother and Step-father use Verison and HATE IT - they have dropped calls everywhere they have gone with them - including large metro areas. New phones, new software - nothing matters.

I have heard the same from Sprint customers.

T-mobile, if you stay in a major metro area can be great. Horrible in the "sticks".

You forgot to mention surly and incompetent CSRs, and a website that frequently contains contradictory information.
