If you didn't catch this, you missed a great U2/Green Day rendition of The Skids 70s punk song "The Saints Are Coming".
Awesome. I wish I had taped it.

The whole Day has been great. Great props to ESPN thats been doing stuff since 2 pm on the game. It is so great to see the Saints back in the Dome. You should have seen the pre game outside the stadium. That rocked and brought a tear to my eyes. The Goo Goo Dools sang Better days and there was a killer killer video to go with it. The whole crowd chanting Who Dat. THe game screams New ORleans. Old Saint kicker playing for atlanta. Even the fact that this is jim moras son. Too awesome.

They made sure Bush41 was introduced as George "H" Bush.
Although there were a few scattered boos when he flipped the coin in favor of Atlanta. LOL.

Bono has at least showed respect to the President. Green Day are untalented anti- Bush pigs. I sat this one out thank you.

The whole crowd chanting Who Dat. Oh, my!
Seriously, I am very happy to see the beginnings of progress toward normal life for your area. Hooray!

I think U2 play great music, hold really sorry ass political views, and generally have no repect for religion or government. I can take them or leave them, very easily.

Sounds like we might have some fans posting here, but did anyone else think Bono was painfully off key tonight?
Did not sound good to me at all.

Sounds like we might have some fans posting here, but did anyone else think Bono was painfully off key tonight? I agree. Though I imagine the acoustics with so many people screaming, etc., makes it hard to hear well enough to sing very well.

Well, if you ever heard the original Skids recording, you'd say Bono was right on key!
