If it wasn't already totally evident that Oprah Winfrey can talk about anything for any length of time, her debut today on her own XM Radio channel just confirmed it. The talk-show queen gabbed with her best pal Gayle King (who called her, inexplicably, "Mommy") on what is nominally King's show on "Oprah & Friends," the satellite channel that launched today.
Among many, many other things, Oprah talked about her humble beginnings in Mississippi, and particularly about how her mother's highest aspiration for her was that she might end up cleaning white people's houses, because "they give away nice clothes." And then Oprah pointed out that now that she's Oprah, she has "all these white people" working for her, and that in fact there's only one black person on the staff. Way to turn the tables, girl.
Finally -- and this was just in the first fifteen minutes -- Oprah moved onto her most recent favorite topic, excrement. O assured Gayle that the reason she doesn't have children wasn't that she can't deal with poo, or "pooty," as the pair called it. For this -- and whatever follows -- is what XM is paying Oprah $55 million over the next three years.

Michael Medved did an hour about Oprah on his radio show a few months back when all this "Oprah is a spiritual leader" stuff came out. Anyway, he said he had been on her show a couple of times and both times she very nastily attacked her staff. He said if he had ever spoke to any of the people working on his show that way, they would have quit. He also knew a guy that worked on her show--the same guy that produced Medved's show Sneak Previews when it was on. That guy said it was very common for her to do that and then lavish gifts on her staff to try and make amends. Oprah may have a lot of money, but she's screwed up in the head.
Does anyone know what Rosie said about Oprah and her best friend? Friends at dinner said that Rosie said they were gay. I'm wondering if she was kidding and they didn't pick up on the kidding part.

That basically describes This Old House with Bob Vila. He admitted he isn't a handyman and refuses to do simple repair tasks around the house.

I don't care if she's a mean boss or not. Her employees get paid, and are free to quit if they think she's a hag.
The thing that bugs me about her is the constant race baiting. She became a success after overcoming many hardships. Why can't more people do that?
Why do successful black people always make excuses for the ones who sit on their butts?
How come Oafrah talks about everything but her hypertelorism? Is it because she can`t blame white people for it?

Well consider that everything Oafrah is, she stole directly from Phil Donahue, but with less audience participation solely so she has more camera time to look at herself in the monitors.
She and Gayle were on GMA yesterday morning and Diane Sawyer called her "Lady O" throughout the so-called interview - in which not one substantive word was spoken by any of the parties.
I like Gayle, always have - although I hadn't laid eyes on either one of those two in maybe a decade or more before yesterday, save one brief recent mention about their denials of being lesbian lovers.
The thing more annoying than oprahs are her fans and the fact some of them vote.
Wait, I thought only white people were racist?
This is the same brilliant woman who was appalled on her show when a homosexual described what he does sexually with other homosexuals. She was just "shocked."
Where have you been living, Oprah?
