I don't think Bush is going to do a thing about this. Not at this point anyway.
I wouldn't rule him out for the future though. Jimmy Carter pardoned Patty Hearst. If anyone is actually convicted in this non-case, Bush and a Presidential pardon could be a last resort although I pray to Christ it doesn't come to that.
I think it was Reagan who pardoned Patty Hearst.
