This comment bugs the hell out of me as well, as if Nifong does not have total control of what is, and is not released to defense counsel.

Nifong's statements smack of desparation. Never mind his amended time frame for the "rape," his infuriation over the "Durham polls," his citing costs for results of DNA results for defense counsel from the second lab, when he chose a second lab in the first place, and failure to give the AV a polygraph to avoid total humiliation.
