Well, if your profits are zero dollars the previous year, 143% is not so hard to acheive, now is it? Guess they managed to sell one copy for $143.00 or, more than likely, 143 copies for $1.00 each. Go Red Hat!!!
I'm only kidding guys, this is good news for Red Hat, and all Linux distros. I am happy to see Linux start to make BIG impact in the market. Microsoft has gotten very lazy and maybe this will help kick them to be more progressive. We all win when creative competition is fierce.
BTW: I know Red Hat is #1, but does anyone know what the other top versions are?
According to distrowatch.com the number one downloaded distro is Ubuntu.
In terms of Linux that is sold, RedHat is indeed number one, followed by SuSE.
