Honestly I had a hard time with that game.

I'm pretty sure OHio State will win but I'm not 100% convinced that it will be close to what I predicted.

The key to Penn State is the offense. Last year they were able to move the ball and control the clock. They haven't been able to accomplish that so much this year.

It comes down to Anthony Morrelli. If he's effective, and he hasn't been yet this year, it will be a good game. If he isn't and he was only 11 for 27 against Youngstown St, it will be a very long day for Ohio State.

Penn State's first team defense is still one of the best out there, but they don't have the depth they did last year and what depth they do have is relatively inexperienced.

I think that Penn State really played over their heads in that game. It was at home, at night and they had the white out going.

If I were an elite team like OSU, I would avoid away games at night if I could as they are ripe for upsets but they might not have control over that - I imagine the BIG 10 has a contract with ESPN the way that the SEC does.

OSU moved the ball well and to me seemed to be the dominant team but PSU came up with the big plays. PSU's defense played lights out that night, but some of that talent is in the NFL now so I don't know if they can repeat something like that again - especially since OSU's offense seems even better this year and it is at OSU.

I would put money on it, but I think their may be a 30 point difference in this game unless OSU just comes out totally flat or Joe Pa comes up with a defensive scheme like he did against Miami in 1985.

My only concern on this game (for OSU to cover) is the weather. Looks like heavy rain in the morning and then again in the early evening. Hopefully the game falls right in the middle of the two weather fronts. If it stays relatively dry I see another big day from these two guys:

Speed Kills!!!

My landmine game of the week: ND at MSU. I think the ND putdown about the MSU coaching staff is going to come back and bite them in the rear. MSU 37, ND 28.

Also - Mike could you add me to the ping list. Thanks.
