My eyes and my reflexes were the 2nd and 3rd things to go bad.

I'll be delicately diplomatic and not ask about what #1 was.

Left foot.

Sciatica.

Got to where I wasn't sure about moving around the shifter.

Compensated with a heel / toe lever.

Lucky you.

A FWIW post...

I added a larger headlight bezel to my Deuce (purely for looks) and replaced the MoCo bulb with a nice bright white one (AutoZone ~$15). The net result was that the additional shock absorbing foam inside the new bezel, plus the added weight caused my headlight to bounce a bit. Turns out other Deuce owners have complained about the same thing. The oncoming view is that my headlight appears to flicker as it bounces up and down. I tightened the screws and bolts to stop the bouncing, but it didn't help, so I simply lived with it.

After a number of months now, I've noticed that (knock on particle board) the cages see me better than they ever did and I've experienced very few right-o-way pull-outs in front of me. I'm thinking that on my next bike I might mount a couple of rubber washers at the headlight mounting bolts simply to cause the same effect...for safety reasons only.

But for those riders in front of me, especially at night, when we ride as group, they sometimes say it can be annoying in their mirrors. OTOH, since I often ride road guard, it is easy for the other riders to see that I'm coming back up to the front to catch the next lane change or intersection.

like I said...FWIW.
Ride safe, ride free. ...and cagers...hang up the phone and drive!
;o)
