Of course, how can you beat Chuck "Soylent Green Is People" "Damn You all to Hell" Heston when it comes to end of world flicks.

They were both based on the same book, Richard Matheson's classic novel "I Am Legend".
Price played the main character with an exhausted, resigned, quiet desperation while Chick went at it with his usual scenery-gnawing, street-strafing, messianic vigilante zeal.

Unfortunately, Baldwin is in "The Departed." I'm debating if I should see this movie. Maybe when Alec scenes come up I'll close my eyes.

This feud between Basinger and Baldwin is a difficult one to take a side on...but I have to say, I actually feel bad for Baldwin in this one, Kim Basinger is a NUT of the highest order. Her bio is like one huge trainwreck. She's played every divorce trick a woman has in her handbag. He seems to really love his kid and she makes it difficult for him...and that's unacceptable. Even her own mother has said it.
