Anna Nicole Smith's representatives have allegedly secured more than £318,000 for the last pictures of her dead son.
The former Playmate posed with tragic Daniel and his new sister in a Bahamian maternity ward the night before he was found dead.
Daniel, 20, was discovered slumped in a chair at the hospital on September 10.
Authorities in the Caribbean have launched an inquiry into the sudden death of Daniel, who was known to be taking anti-depressants at the time.
Smith's representatives and her photo agent Getty Images have reportedly been paid the cash by a US magazine and TV shows.
In Touch magazine paid a reported £212,000 for the print exclusive.
And the Paramount-produced television shows 'Entertainment Tonight' and 'The Insider' allegedly paid an estimated £132,000 for the TV rights.
"There is an incredible amount of emotion attached to this story and the photos, and our story will be a tribute to Daniel's life as well as a celebration of it," an In Touch spokesman said.
"I'm told that Anna Nicole has vague plans to use a portion of the money for a Daniel Smith memorial and it wasn't clear yesterday what percentage of the proceeds Getty is taking as a commission," a New York Daily News columnist wrote.
Anna Nicole Smith has still not been seen publicly since the sudden death of her son.
A spokesman for Paramount Television did not make a comment.
I don't think I'd feel safe with that much silicone in my body.
the last time i had a mammogram i asked the xray tech how they did them with implants and she said it was quite a bit more painful to those with rubber balls in the chest area....
Whoa, I'd hate to be the mammogram tech! I'd be afraid one would explode.
Brwnsuga, you forgot Britney Spears on your list... :^)
Who knows what she really looks like? I am sorry but this woman is as disgusting as they come. Her tv show was pathetic and she apparently has no pride in that she was a fat slob during it and apparently bombed out of her head during most of it. What a trainwreck.
Do you think she was really bombed or do you think it was just an act? Some one else must have helped her raise her son if he was as level headed as they say he was. Poor kid, never had a chance.
If she has a charitable purpose for the cash, why NOT make the tabs disgorge some of the profits they're making off the death of her son?
(Of course, if it goes right in her pocket, it's pretty sick.)
Oh, I don't believe it to be an act. I didn't see too much of it but would linger while passing through looking for something to watch. It was like a car wreck that you couldn't look away from.
I doubt very seriously she had much to do with raising the boy. He was likely in boarding schools while she was whoring around looking for old coots at death's door. Not that there is anything wrong with that.
whyisa, i know you watched the E entertainment show on anna nicole, which was totally appalling. i never saw the reality show, but the one on E showed her extreme white trash roots. remember there was some aunt they filmed while laying up in the bed with an array of pill bottles behind her? it was just mindboggling.
that was hilarious, but what in the world can they say about CHAVEZ, now that he made the dinnerjacket look positively scholarly and restrained???
Do you have any clue why would a 19 year old need those two drugs? I wonder if her excesses with medications had any impact on him?
After giving birth, some women are so exhilarated they think they look fantastic. I made the mistake of having my spouse capture the moment too - and somehow the way I felt didn't translate as well on camera. ;)
Her cousin was in her twenties and had already lost her teeth. It was one of the most pathetically sad things I've watched on television that didn't involve a natural disaster or war.
well since i was a four-eyed freak not able to wear contacts during the process, i was under no illusions of attractiveness!
Been there, but even giving allowances for having given birth, that is not a good picture of A.N.
My personal opinion was that the family members were so ignorant, they didn't realize they were being humiliated. The interviewer would ask a leading question and the Aunt and cousins would laugh and tell something horribly embarrassing.
Well, just theorizing here, but depression can cause insomnia. Depression/anxiety disorder is fairly common. Even in DS's demographic...and considering the fish bowl lifestyle he grew up in, somewhat understandable.
my 17 yo daughter thought from his pix that he was a total "babe", but she said, no wonder he was screwed up having had HER for a mom!
Thanks
