The man is months away from being able to make life or death decisions in Iraq, I think he can make a decision of where he wants to put his wee-wee.

I was already in the Marine corps at seventeen (I graduated young). I was not, however ready to be a parent. But ,being already out on my own, I was closer than this kid. The law, however, is written to do the most good for the most people.

I work for my Father in law in a small family business. We have a moderate turn over, and we get a steady stream of people who go to work and then quit when we start garnishing their wages. Garnishing them for child support. A lot of them are men who conceived children as teenagers while still in high school. The victims in these cases are the children, mlbford2.

These children need and deserve parents who care for them. The young fathers who saddled themselves under a burden they could not yet bear while in their youth - Still owe emotional and fiscal care to their children. Saddled with financial burdens they can not meet, often they fail to mature as they otherwise might have. Their child's needs are the greatest. these men do not deserve to have that burden lifted, because their children deserve to be supported by them. It is these guy's responsibility, not that of some nebulous "society". The child needs the support of a father and a mother.

When you have immature people engaging in sex this happens. In cases where an adult woman is involved, She bears an adult's responsibility for risking the infliction of this state of affairs both on the young male and on any progeny they might have engendered.

The claim that this was "consensual" is ludicrous. Most hormonally charged teens do not have the willpower to resist a sexually attractive adult, particularly when you consider the natural effects of pheromones. Without a significant ability to deny consent then consent itself has no meaning.

Then there are the other parties who are involved. This is not necessarily between two people. Did any potential child consent to be raised without TWO parents? What about this woman's children? Looks like they lost having two parents already. "Victimless crime" indeed. In cases where the young males involved never become able to take care of children that result from these liaisons what happens to them, mlbford2? Do they starve? Do all these women marry some great superdad-type guy? Are these predominately wealthy women with a ton of money?

That last paragraph was rhetorical. The grand parents usually try to step in, and mlbford2, They didn't consent when nobody else steps up to the plate, the taxpayer picks up the tab (albeit in a fumbling, inadequate way) And believe me, I'm not consenting.
