Well, I wasn't silent for about two minutes after the walkoff - my neighbors came rushing out to see a grown man screaming at the top of his lungs aboiut Rudy F'ing Seanez and the other relievers who turned a great win for my Padres into a disaster.
The good news is we are even in the loss column...
We get Arizona and Pittsburgh at home this week, then go to St Louis and Arizona next week to finish the season. Who do the Dodgers have? I know Pittsburgh is in tomorrow - the best team in the league in the last three weeks.
I still say 87 wins will win the division, since both teams are playing about 0.550 baseball the last two weeks. At least the Giants are nearly out of contention.
I'm almost settled down enough to go to bed.
Three versus Pittsburgh, three versus Arizona, a day off, three at Williamsport (Colorado), and three at Battery Chuck Park in San Francisco to finish the regular season.
Should the Dodgers and Padres finish the regular season tied, the Dodgers would host the one game playoff.
I feel like I need a drink...at least it is ok for me to be around sharp objects again! The sports shows (Cowherd, Rome, Dan Patrick, Loose Cannons, Mason & Ireland) should be very interesting tomorrow.
