Is your wine covered?
If you have a modest wine collection, which is not too expensive and primarily for consumption, it will likely be covered through your homeowners policy...Here is an easy test: If you store your wine in the refrigerator beside your Budweiser, then you are probably all set.
For serious wine enthusiasts, however, the limits on your homeowners policy may not be sufficient in the event of a loss.
Insuring wine is an easy process. No appraisals are necessary unless you have individual bottles that are worth more than $10,000.

Well I was thinking more along the lines of $10 bottles of wine.
You can get some really nice wine for 10-20 dollars these days.
I thing that they are as good as that stuff we drank at that fancy restaurant in Mentor.
I think I will keep that 10,000 dollar stuff in the cellar for when I break out those $200 aged steaks.

We have a wine shop in the little plaza not too far from my home.. a great selection of all types, prices etc... also lots of cigars! I still lean towards the Shiraz, merlot & Cabernet.. there is one from Australia that is a blend of the three.. yummy!

Shiraz, merlot & Cabernet.. We have similar taste.
I like a Merlot by Foxhorn vineyards Which I can usually get a 1.5 liter bottle for $12 by the case.
