Did anyone else hear this interview? Sounds like Eddie is still very bitter. As much as you hear about David Lee Roth being a jerk, you have to wonder if the main problem in Van Halen wasn't Eddie.....

Eddie doesn't get along well with others. Van Halen could have been the greatest band of all time...

Eddie Van Halen Speaks to Howard Stern (Eddie show his bitterness...)

Why does anyone care?

I'm so sick of good bands splitting up because grown men insist on acting like children, sacrificing a good gig over petty squabbles.

Any of this crap comes up and I stop buying their music immediately. I won't subsidize idiocy. (Besides, I probably already have all their stuff!)

Since it was on the Howard Stern Show the only way anyone would hear about it was if he said something about Opie and Anthony and they mentioned it on their show.

I didn't hear it but I am so glad it did not go political. I was nervous that he could have something about the President or Iraq. I would have been extremely disappointed. Plus he did not talk about the hot Valerie bertnelli. I loved her as a kid. She was a saint for sticking with him for 20 years and I don't even really like to see people get divorced, but she did the best she could I believe.

Anthony can 'do whatever he wants...'

Called Hagar 'Little Red Rocker' and 'Little Red Worm') and Michael Anthony 'Hot Sauce Sobileski'.

So Michael Anthony is out now? I hate to say it, but Eddie Van sounds like a real miserable person.

Eddie doesn't play well with others.

Sidebar: I've seen Dave in concert twice; both were great. He is so fun to watch on stage.

Thanks for posting this. Van Halen is definitely one of my top 5 bands. I may get flamed by some VH purists out there, and I don't want to start a war here..but I like the albums with Sammy Hagar more than David Lee Roth (with the exception of 1984.) I don't know, the songs were seemed to be much more melodic and more complex.

One of the favorite aspects of VH was the guitar solos, use of synthesizer, and Michael Anthony's backup vocals.
