I think my dad had one like that. My dad drove alot of those kinds of cars. I've seen pictures of him all muscled-up out of the Army driving those oldies. Most of them were in black and white so I can't really tell the colors of them.

I went to a car show in eastern New Mexico this past weekend and there were several of these beauties there. My high school car was a 1956 Ford Fairlane that was ten years old when I bought it. I made $75 per week pumping Texaco gasoline ($0.28/gallon) and put every penny into that car. But alas, it was a 4-door, and worse, a Ford. Here's a pic of that car.

My current project is a 1924 Dodge Brothers business coupe.

In the '60s my friend and I used to "cruise" in one of these. He was a Ford man who would fight you if you said something derogatory about Fords.
