The Ferris Bueller kit car was based on the Ferrari 250 GT SWB (Short Wheel Base) California Competizione Spyder. The 250 design and evolution has influenced most sports car designs since the first 250 was introduced in 1959.
I'm impressed, even if it isn't real! :)
