Just how far does that go? I would have said that I've never been too far in that direction, but then I remembered the one time I tried a Samuel Adams Triple Bock.
That was too much. I kept trying to like it, I wanted to like it, but I couldn't. It was like trying to drink steak sauce.

I had Sammy's triple bock twice in the mid nineties (I know cuz I kept the bottles) and I really liked it, but I just can't justify paying so much for such a tiny little bottle of beer. I'm not THAT much of a beer snob.
A couple of months ago I bought a big bottle of Sammy's chocolate bock and it tasted like a Hershey's candy bar. I didn't like it.
