Consider that Jesus didn't use his ministry to teach to the elites. He went into the places where the sick and the poor were. Taking the easy way out is not the way to reap the big rewards that come with being there for those who most need you.
This isn't about Christianity or related subjects. This is one of the Major Lost Causes of the past 50 Years!
Public education is completely broken in this country. Good luck with thinking and wishing otherwise. Let me know how that works out for you down the road.

Let me know how that works out for you down the road.Every day I find new rewards in the work I with kids. This is where we have to go if we are to effect change. The work I do is not for me or the kids, but for the glory of God. Most Christians will tell you the same. It doesn't matter what your profession or how "lost" your job is, you do the best you are capable.
