Wow. I've never heard of anyone mounting a campaign to become First Lady. This woman was a living cartoon character.

... Diana never had an affair with John F. Kennedy Jr., whom she considered intellectually challenged, Burrell scoffs. Oh, please ... as dim as she was?
I don't believe a word of this. I think Burrell is making it all up.

Bless, Diana's heart: She was a good-looking clothes horse who married the wrong guy.
It's still a sad story, though.

BTW, did you know that Diana had an affair with Bryan Adams? How's that for lame?

I've never heard of Bryan Adams. His hair looks fake.

This story doesn't have any gelatin to it ,i.e. nothing holds it together. And it is just too weard. However, somebody will make a paint load of money.

Good verbage!
I think you're right, though ... famous-name-dropping, secret lovers, nothing provable or disprovable ... lots of people will buy it.

She married the WRONG GUY????? Oh my...for some, being a freaking PRINCESS, getting to do all the good works you want and being loved and adored by millions would be enough. But no, she wanted to be LOVED. Reminds me of the scene in the Movie Arthur where Arthur is whining about not having love in his life, and his Butler removes his hat and slaps him across the face saying something like, You think you're the only one who has no love? You're a spoiled brat. That's what she was, not only that, but a tramp to boot.

I am no fan of "Di" at all, but this Burrell character is just making stuff up to sell books at this point.
To: presidio9
"she had built up an exceptionally close relationship with a politically well-connected billionaire" - a silver-haired, 50-something, Manhattan bachelor she met at Wimbledon in 1994 - and the princess "felt that he was capable of running for office," Jim McGreevey?

Bill Clinton wants to be both Jack and Jackie.

I'm beginning to wonder if there was a semi-celebrity she DIDN'T have an affair with. Yeesh. I mean, OK, billionaires, princes, that's one thing. But Bryan Adams??

National Enquirer along with other garbage at the check out stand are top sellers. I try to find a grocery that doesn't have all that. I'm still looking.
