NASSAU, Bahamas Medical personnel applied CPR and other lifesaving measures on Anna Nicole Smith's son Daniel for 22 minutes before he was pronounced dead, the head of the hospital said Tuesday. But there was no official word on what caused the death.
Police say the reality TV star and former Playboy playmate found Daniel Smith, 20, unresponsive Sunday morning in a chair in her hospital room, where she was recuperating from giving birth to a baby girl three days earlier, and called for help.
Police said they had no evidence that Daniel Smith had suffered a heart attack or that drugs were involved.

No matter what I think of Anna Nicole, I cannot imagine the pain and conflict she is experiencing. The birth of a child is such a joyous occasion. Losing a child is indescribably horrific.
I hope she's got some sort of support system.

A truely vile post. At this point, that guess seems as valid as any other. The sudden, violent vomiting certainly hints at that possibility.

It will be interesting to find out who the father of her baby is.
My bet:
Rich married guy whose paying her a boatload of money to keep it all quiet. That's her usual dating MO. Interesting how she had to travel all the ways to the bahamas to have the baby.

I can't think of anyone's death I'm less curious about, except maybe the Croc hunter guy. Indeed. I did see, however, where there has been an anti-stingray backlash along the Australian coast. Dead stingrays are being found, often with the tails hacked off.
You just know that the PETA freaks must be in a lather... so in that sense, I suppose I *am* in that unfortunate fellow's demise. ;-)

People are killing stingrays because one killed the croc hunter? Lordy.

And a guess only.
Some people have class and don't need to plumb the depths of human responses to be engaged in society.
Most people on FR have class, but, infrequently, a person with cranio-rectal inversion gets onboard.

Interesting about the third person in the room....
NASSAU, Bahamas Authorities are leaving open the possibility that criminal charges will be filed in the death of the 20-year-old son of Anna Nicole Smith, the Bahamas coroner said Wednesday.
Her Majesty's Coroner Linda P. Virgill told The Associated Press that authorities believe they know what killed David Wayne Smith, but are awaiting a toxicology report to confirm the findings.
"We do know the cause of death," Virgill said. "But we need to confirm it with a toxicology report."
She declined to disclose details but said there was no sign of physical injury to Smith, who died while visiting his mother, a reality TV start and former Playboy playmate, in a hospital three days after she gave birth to a baby girl.
Deepening the mystery, Virgill said there was at least one other person in the room when Smith died. She refused to elaborate.
"I can confirm that there was definitely a third person in the room at the time of death and I do know who that person is," she said. "But I am unwilling to reveal that information at this time for various reasons."
A formal inquiry may be launched, in which case officials will not publicly disclose their findings until after it is completed, Virgill said in an interview.

A CEO, who was associated professionally with her, said ANS called her lawyer as soon as she saw her son was ill, only later a doctor.

Her lawyer is also her best friend, or at least a very close confidant.

FOX news is reporting possible signs of FOUL PLAY in Daniels death. There were 3 people in the room when he died.
They know the identity of the third person, but are not releasing it for now.
This is very strange.

OK. . .have to say. . .I'm curious; now a 'third person' involved. Am wondering if there was the beginnings of a little 'drug party' in the room or just a 'too late smart moment'. .
That they are making such a mystery of it; is curious as well. . .it not like Anna Nicole is a 'protected celebrity'. . .or that she should be.

that's a pretty awful thing to say...let's remember there's usually a difference between celebrity and the actual persona

The CEO for Trim Spa? He was on Greta last night. Why would you call your lawyer instead of a Dr?? Something is very strange about this story.
