In the mid to late 60's,the Who was among the greatest R&R groups.Today,I wouldn't cross the street to hear them do anything...old or new.

But that's just me.

I agree, I wouldn't pay to hear them either. I just enjoyed Pete's take on hippiedom - that was one reason I liked them when I was in high school, because they were the anti-Beatles.

The new songs might be interesting, given that they are tied to the Lifehouse concept, which is what led to the best songs on Who's Next.

That's not me. I'm seeing them in less than two weeks in Baltimore at the Virgin Festival. It will be my fifth Who concert (and first without Entwistle). A big reason I'm going is that my 16 and 15 year old sons are big Who fans. The fact that the Red Hot Chili Peppers, the Killers, the Raconteurs, Gnarls Barkley, and Drive-by Truckers are also playing there is a heckuva bonus.

Friend of mine's wife has been buying concert tickets online when they first go on sale, and then selling them for a profit (usually) on ebay. She bought 4 pretty good tickets for the Who's Boston 9/16 show (1st balcony about 1/4 of the way back from the stage end). No bids on ebay. Asked me if I wanted them (I saw them at Woodstock and a couple of other times) or if I knew anyone who would want the 4 tickets at her cost: Approx. $460.00
I said no, I could think of a LOT of other things to do with $460.00. (I wonder how much the floor seats in the first 15 rows go for?)
