Did you know its warmer at 3pm than at 3am???
REASON: Greenhouse gasses.
Did you know its warmer in August than January in the NoHem?
REASON: Greenhouse gasses.
Did you know its warmer when the earth's orbit is circular than when it is elliptical?
REASON: Greenhouse gasses.
Do not let the alignment of the planets and their impact on global orbit around the sun affect your judgement...its the gasses man..the gasses...

Doesn't the Gulag have a sewage disposal system for this purpose?

The trick is not to comment... just agree with the most insane poster you can find. Once someone questions your post... it's like a shark frenzy. Your behind the old iron-curtain when you go there... so you gotta' act like it to survive.

"People calling for the murder of the VP"
That is a serious offense. You should turn this over to the SS and they can lurk over there. The maggots that do this can later have a nasty visit by the FBI.

I went over there a couple of times a few years back and one post per visit was my limit too.
If they wanted to hear the truth,I suppose they would be over here instead over there.

You're right, in one important sense: DUmmies think free speech means a free microphone. For them to so deny someone else, then, reeks of hipocrisy (sp?).
To: Paloma_55
You'll have to do better than that. It only took me *ONE POST* to get banned from there.
What is sometimes fun is to go to bulletin boards where there are both liberals and conservatives debating, register as something provocative like "Mr. Liberal", and post threads featuring a compilation of the "best" trash on any given issue from the DUmp. Watch the libs squirm because although they agree with the stuff, they don't want to be caught in "mixed company" seeming to agree with those over-the-top offensive rants.

Could you cite the source for that graphic? I'd love to use it but know that's the first thing I'll be asked

The data was pulled from the Vostok Ice Core samples provided by N.O.A.A. The addition of the comment about human activity was mine. It is pretty hard to really spot where human activity began, relative to the scale, but if you imagine "When humans began burning fossil fuels", it would be a very small line on the right end of the scale.
One should note; CO2 is higher than ever before. But that should be taken in the context that CO2 is a lagging factor (it follows temperature, does not drive it) and the periodicity of our global temperatures are not human made.

Folks with the "mentality" displayed at DU, are the type folks our founders were worried about when they coined the expression --- "...enemies, foreign or domestic"...and included it in all oaths of Enlistment and oaths of Political Office.
The worthless bastards have ALWAYS been with us....
They are part of the reason our founders put in place the 2nd Amendment..
Arm thyself - neighbor.
You may, one day be forced to shoot a couple of the bastards.

I never post over there. My comments would be truthful, so they are unwelcome. But a person is always a guest of the site owner and if he doesn't wants you or your comments respect his wishes. As if you really have a choice.
I go over to get some laughs and find out how the DUmmies ants are trying to spin something in the news. I don't need to post to do that.
Don't try to make them think. The voices in their heads tell them what to think. That's part of what makes the DUmmie FUnnies so funny.

Even a stopped clock...
Of course a clock that is showing is never right. And that's much closer to the reality of DUmmieworld.

I have to disagree with him because I was not calling for government mandating that they allow me to post on their site.
I was simply observing that they shun free discussion.
I followed their rules, but they shut me down anyway. That was the fun part...figuring out how much sarcasm I could post before they figured out that I was mocking them.
I would post as if I were a truly liberal person with no brain. Its actually pretty easy. Just blame Bush, adore Gore, and call for Hillary in 08 and they will love you.

Something kind of interesting... I went back over there to see if my posts were still there...they stripped the site of EVERY post I made.
That is amazing. I wonder if they worry that someone might have their brainwash removed?!?

I updated the Global Warming slide to include sources for the data and clean it up a bit in case you want to reference it.
