I am suggesting that she blew her brains out because she felt that she had failed her child. I.e. someone took him when she wasn't fully engaged. I am also suggesting that while she was perhaps raised in westchester, she might, just might, identify with people from Japan who off themselves for various reasons, honor being one of them.

Did you even read the article? She was born in South Korea, not Japan.

Why would she identify with people from Japan? Is she Japanese? She could be of Thai, Filipina, Korean, Vietnamese or countless of Asian countries decent?
