I don't know. Gottlieb could claim he only had one copy of that report and that he gave it to Baker. Baker could claim he used that report one day and then put it in the trash when he was done.

I think Gottlieb broke the law, yet again, if he prepared a report, ie a timeline, and did not maintain a copy of that report. Or put another way, I don't think the prosecution can avoid the NC discovery law by throwing away evidence. If so, prosecutors would just throw away exculpatory evidence and not be involation of the NC discovery law. A Nifong then would just throw away all evidence other than what he planned to use in court.
