I was text messaging the wife (who was still at rehearsal) from the ER. Last thing I sent her was:

His hand is okay. Ace bandage and ice. We're waiting to be discharged and the old lady in the bed next to us has the farts.

Jr. and I were giggling like middle schoolers. It was good father/son time.
