Well, I did 3400 words today... All of it a political speech and crowd reaction and I must say that my character was a speechafyin' something fierce. So, in the past three days, I did about 12,000 words. I am now over 138,000 words and closing in on 500 pages. Now, I know that does not even compare with the tremendous word output that you two have done in just 12 days...but I've been working hard and just wanted to share my success.

Glad we could provide some impetus. ;-) That's another nice thing about NaNo, seriously...being able to chat with other writers is often a good way to get moving on an older story or figure out ways to move past obstacles.

I feel like I'm writing into the dark these past few days, though...don't have a clue what's happening next. And that bothers me. At least today I had a few break-throughs, so I won't be sitting and staring at the wall at today's write-in.

Out of curiosity, how do you figure pages? I'm just working with a word processor, and I'm not sure how big the average book page is, really.
