The only thing that passed, that I actually would have voted *for* if I were registered in King county... was that infernal new "big-dig" style boondoggle that they want in order to replace the Alaskan Way viaduct.
It puts some whopping new tax on Seattle residents and lots of businesses downtown. Plus it'll have whopping tolls. Why would I support such a thing?
Do you really think I would vote for it out of sheer revenge for Seattle getting to vote to put in a new toll bridge on the Narrows that we didn't want and they wouldn't have to use every day?
Do you really think I could possibly be that shallow and petty?
You bet I could. :-)
Mmmm... tastes like... Mr. and Mrs Seattlite Chili. Mmmm...
Heh... That's not nice :~)
I need to move my registration down to Thurston County, course I've been saying that for 4 years now. It's not that hard, but it's an errand, and I hate errands.
Because I didn't get the Pierce county pamphlet though, I was a little caught off guard by the sheer volume of Pierce County Charter amendments. Are they just throwing out their entire system and starting over or what? I left a lot of them blank.
*snicker*
So...happy it passed, then?
