There aren't any indoor pools at home, but the Kiwanis club (spelling?) has an open swim hour during the summer.
It's always total chaos. Lots of kids just splashing around, mostly. I can't imagine anyone trying to do laps in the middle of it. It would be stoopid to try.
Well, see...they're so used to kids being in school during the open swim time that they think they can get away with it. (See, they have to pay extra per lap swim session...they don't during open swim.)
But now there are so many homeschooled kids that get memberships and come in during open swim that it's put a cramp in their style. It's not swamped with kids, so it's still "do-able" but they need to come during lap swim time if they want total peace.
