I have a few vague ideas for a plot, which is more than I usually have...so I guess I'm not worried.
But I really don't want to leave my current story behind. *sigh* The characters are now in impossible situations, and I think it'll take more than October to get the knots untied. I hate leaving them in the lurch.
Not like I haven't done it before, though. Usually this is when I give up on rescuing 'em. I have a small stack of unfinished manuscripts with characters that need help. A few of them deserve rescuing, even if it's just to pull them from that story so I can plop 'em in another story and get them into a new impossible situation.
If you need any ideas for getting out of impossibles feel free to ask :-D
I am pretty much clean slate this year. I have a lot of different plot ideas laying around but I am not sure any of them will do. Last year's NANO was the most writing I have ever done on any fiction so I am pretty new to actually working on ideas. I have ideas I developed pretty far but never wrote. Most I don't want to waste on a nano story though :P
I need something I will like I enough to stay the course but not so much I will get caught up tweeking plot or anything like that. *sigh* :P
Maybe I will start hitting the NANO forums for orphan plots.
