I was out checking the condition of the window glazings on all the windows in the front. All of the panes at the top have no glazing whatsoever on their bottom edges. No wonder it was so damn cold last year!

At least I know that there are some homeowners slacker than I am out there.

No glazing = big drafts!! I took off the old glazing from the downstairs windows and replaced it prior to having the house painted last time. Read a really good tip: keep a little pan of solvent handy, and when you finish with the glazing tool, you can use the solvent to smooooth out any goofs or glitches. It works really well.

Also, Walgreens' has disposable gloves on sale this week, 3 boxes of 50 for $10 :-)
