Enjoy the walk, quite a bit cooler that yesterday evening, should be more pleasant, even with the precip.

Heh...

Maybe I'll try to get some pictures of the roof and that. It looks pretty nice, IMO!

You guys go on a week-long honeymoon at Niagara Falls, and the only picture we get when you get home is a picture of Jen playing with a rocket? ;-)

Looks like fun, though! Is that Iowa? What are we looking at, a park near your house?

Yeah, it's a bit drippy out. Probably a bit too humid to do anything with the windows today. I suppose I should work on my resume instead.

What-what-what-what?

Is this just precautionary, or have you heard about your job?

Just precautionary.

They're supposed to announce the "big news" to everybody Oct. 3. The rumor is that the people who will be laid off will be notified before then.

So all I have to do is dodge the suits for a couple of weeks, right? :)

Let us know... Hope you don't have a shakeup.

We're off to make a gate happen where there formerly was none.

Heh, you and me both.

I'm thinking it's time I started my freelance technical writing career.

As long as I don't have to plot anything....

Can you believe this??? It was 81 degrees at midnight, very uncomfortable sleeping, even with the whole house fan. And now, now, we've got to put sweaters on. Sigh, it's a wonder we're not all dead of pneumonia. Gypsy likes the temps better this morning than last night, so there's that :-) she did get a frosty paw after her walk last night

One last Frosty Paw for Gypsy!

It should be good sleeping weather tonight with blankets and everything!

I was going to do a pork roast on the grill but ended up doing it in the oven....with rosemary and garlic.

Speaking of garlic, I think I'll plant some after the race.

You just reminded me to take a roast out of the freezer! I fixed a big pot of lentil soup last week, looks like we'll be having that some this next week. Not sure what wel'll have for dinner, maybe use up the last of the tomatoes and fix tomato soup.

We have pics from up there we just have not posted them.... heh

Jen had never fired model rockets so we grabbed some at the Air Force Museum when we passed through Dayton and yesterday we shot them off from the softball fields next to the company gym. We were ready to run away since we are not sure they are legal in the city limits or if company security would have been happy with us. Lots of fun. We had 2. One with gliders that dropped off the sides.
