One more thing...
The traffic on the *interstate* stopped, as the procession was going by...the entire interstate stopped.
Dang, 2J, that just made me cry like baby! What a wonderful tribute to this young man, and I'm glad his family was able to witness it.
mmmmm...lunch...
Got the front yard cleaned up and the front flower beds ~mostly~ cleaned out. Still hasn't decided if it's gonna rain.
The question of diggin' the elephant ears is now moot. Somethin' et 'em. I do have a couple in pots that I'll lift and bring in.
Question about dahlias. I had several in pots. Only one bloomed. Should I even bother liftin' 'em and trying again next year?
In other news, I'm pi$$in' people off on muh blog.
Man, I love that.
ROTFL! That is just hilarious!!
Pizza's been ordered... should be here about 40 minutes from right now. :~)
I'll bring the beer. But it'll prolly take me a little more than 40 minutes...
Most excellent!
I'm chatting with a friend...be over shortly.
We may not wait.... we're vey hungry :~)
Afternoon Corin, can't help you on the Dahlias, we don't have any. OB & LSA
I sent the video link to my dad and said "We went to this yesterday." My mom wrote back (I know it was her 'cause Dad always signs his name) and asked me "You went to Taco Bell?"
Ditto on the dahlias. Did they get enough sun? That's my first guess as to what went wrong. Then fertilizer, water, heat.
BTW...does anybody know how to reattach metal weatherstripping to a wooden window sash?
Well,
I am SO impressed. That wasn't easy and it was so much fun to watch!
How is the weatherstripping that remains attached?
Well ~technically~ neither do I.
I had 'em in about 5-6 different pots. Most of 'em came up. But only one bloomed. Some were in shade and some in the direct sun. So I dunno. I'm thinking I'll just throw 'em in the compost pile.
Not sure the best way to handle yer weather stripping.
Bless her heart.
It's just...
...sitting there...
Alone...
Chomp!
