Yeah - I bet with those high winds... we've had a little bit of the same... it's real loud in a metal building :~)
G'nad is home safe...they let him off a little early because he lives the farthest from work...so, now he's going out hunting. :-)

It's cold and so the deer should be out on the food plots...especially at sunset. He's hunting from the ground...for deer, not pig. :-) He hasn't seen any pigs here.

It is FINALLY starting to snow. It hasn't snowed at all...just frozen "wintery mix". Now I am definitely seeing some pretty large flakes coming down.
Hugh soft soundless flakes are coming down now!! Joshua's out in it. It's beautiful and that awful sleet sound has stopped.
So pretty now!
It's coming down thick now! Drifts are accumulating on the recliner in my neighbor's front yard.

Did you make it home safely? OB didn't leave 'til 3:30, though he could have left any time after 2:00 :-(
I was just wondering too...haven't heard from her in a while, since it started looking bad on her live cam.
Steve left about 40 minutes ago...usually takes him about 25 minutes to get home...I imagine he's taking his time.
It started snowing where she is sooner than here in LS. We've probably only got an inch here but the road conditions are lousy all over the metro area.
Well, the good news is she's okay...
I'm in a meetin' this afternoon and get an email from the missus. Starts out "your mother is okay but..."
She was on her way here to see the Christmas show then go on down to Virginia Beach to visit her sister. Coming down the Interestate on the other side of Roanoke she was side-swiped by a tractor trailer.
She's okay, but understandably a bit shaken up. The car is pretty banged up.
Needless to say, she's not coming. At least not this weekend.

Jeepers, that's a big rig to get in a tangle with. Very glad she's OK.
I know. I HATE I-81 and avoid it as much as possible. But there's about a 20 mile stretch that you ~have~ to take between here and there. Well, you don't ~have~ to, but the other way would add about an hour to the trip.
