I just can't see Sean Connery as Gandalf. Can't imagine Gandalf with that accent.
Just talked to the seller - guy said he bought this one two years ago, but someone gave them a matched set - washer/dryer, so he didn't need this one.
Considering he was apologetic about a few scratches, I imagine it has to be in pretty good shape.
I'm guessing I should bite the bullet and go for it. Better than disposable dryers that make funny noises and don't turn off.
Whoa...just realizing what that means. A dryer that turns off? Man...talk about quality of life improvements! Whoa.
Quality of life is worth a lot :)
Well, let me know. And let me know if he's flexible on pickup - ie dodging the weather.
He said his girlfriend would be there most of the day tomorrow. He didn't seem too concerned about exact timing. I got her number, so I can call when we have some idea what the weather's gonna do.
I figure I'll go out for a bit first thing in the morning, get some groceries and cash, so I have it. Then we'll see.
In other news, there's a significant lack of bourbon in this place. I have egg nog without nuffin to put in it except coffee... Maybe one of these days I'll learn how to get to the likker store.
You want to come over and borrow a cup of bourbon?
LOL!
No, that's OK. ;-)
You sure can if you want... I find egg nog repugnant, but we do have bourbon.
Titanic just started on TV :~)
2. In the Seattle/Tacoma area, in the era surrounding 1973-74, there was a park, an amusement park of sorts, containing dioramas and other representations of Mother Goose and or children's fairy tale scenes. Do you recall this? Do you remember its name? Is it still extant?
Well I knew she had won a Best Actress Oscar playing Queen Elizabeth I.
The place you remember is/was Enchanted Village. I've been there in the last ten years, but not in the last 5. The park has become a big Six Flags theme park now, and although it still says Enchanted Village, I don't see a page for it. As far as I know it's still there.

Actors PORTRAY intelligent people -- that doesn't make them smart -- just look at their politics!
Ack!
Thanks for the offer...but I think I'm gonna hit the hay early here. And I've already had a beer...was the only alcohol in the house. ;-) Doesn't go with eggnog, though.
I haven't bought any booze since I've been in WA. Of course, I *have* mooched a bit, now that I think about it...
Kewl...thanks!
Got ya pretty liquored up once, that I recall. :~)
Well, that's fine, maybe tomorrow :~)
Jaaack.....
Hmmmm....I didn't know my cat was making movies.
I have had a red-letter day, but as I'm sneak-freepin', I don't have time to say much more!!
Here's a brief synopsis.
Body off. On large sawhorses.
Chassis spiffed (removed an inch of mud off everything, from when it was pulled from the field), floor pans both removed.
Neighbor in a '63 stopped by...let me drive! Beep-beeped at a Passat that I am all the time seeing drive by and waving at me when I work on the Beetle. Lady grinned really big and smiled...knew who I was.
Steve welded and grinded.
I got cholesterol medicine. Watched a Nicholas Cage movie.
Life is unbelievably good!
She's a cat of many talents.
My cats, on the other hand, are still ticked off that the couch is coverless. Change is soooo hard to bear.
Aaaack!!! Cat hair in the couch!
