I don't know yet. I'm still at the beach. We got wet here, but the winds never developed. Never lost power after those first flickers. The downstairs has finally started to show some seepage now.
I'll find out tonight if I've got water in the Bvue house. I'm not expecting it, though there's likely a pretty impressive puddle back there.
I took yesterday off, so that I could be here this morning and go vote. Some day I've gotta fix that. Either get an absentee, or change my registration.
Well that Kansas board finally came in handy. :)
Got the lowdown on some of those judges.
I gots to get ready and go vote. On of the election judges has parked outside our house; the bumper sticker on his/her SUV says " Freedom is the Distance Between Church and State". I feel like placing a note under the windshield wipers asking she knows whether the Muzzies agree with that sentiment. Da#n liberals.

The wisdom would be lost on her.
Should I bring Cisco over, do you think? Or is the wet going to quit today?
What was I thinking???
Gatorade? Eewwww!!
Guess I'll just leave him outside for now...it's mostly just drizzling.
OK - if it gets nasty, I'll go get him.
Years ago I swore off bourbon on Election Night. I'm rethinking that decision...
I've already told the wife she's driving.
Mmmmmm.....bourbon....
Well, finally got my computer back online, as of a few minutes ago...it's been a month now, just about, that it didn't work right.
Doesn't feel right not to be able to freep when one wants to.
Meanwhile, went down and voted about 08:00. No lines, couldn't find my voter's reg card, but they said a driver's license would do just fine, which I had...they compared it to a list they had handy, on which my name and address were already typed, so I think it's OK to use the driver's license just to confirm info that's already there.
I hit the button for the Republican governor, but the machine registered a vote for the Dem guy...one of the polite volunteers came over and showed me how to fix the thing...anyhow, hoping for the best, but it may turn out to be time to reap what you sow.
Some of us needed a little bourbon the night of the 2002 presidential election...may come in handy tonight as well. I'll probably abstain, though, getting to old to use that stuff except for special occasions.
Well, I voted. It was a shock to see how the demographics of the neighborhood have changed, I knew the area was trending down, but, man,oh, man, these people are voting (gulp).
Was in the pet store last night, looking for some dog chews...I noticed they are marketing a plastic atlatl for throwing a ball, so the dog could fetch it. Weird.
I voted absentee. Go Steele Go!
We've seen those in use at the dog park, it really increases the distance a ball can be thrown. One man throws balls with it to exercise his German Shepherd, it is amazing to see how fast that dog can move!! LSA
Maybe they should give those things to the baseball teams...'course, then the batter would probably need armor.
