Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!

Mawwage is what bwings us togethew today!

New verse:

Upon the hearth the fire is red,
Beneath the roof there is a bed;
But not yet weary are our feet,
Still round the corner we may meet
A sudden tree or standing stone
That none have seen but we alone.
Tree and flower and leaf and grass,
Let them pass! Let them pass!
Hill and water under sky,
Pass them by! Pass them by!

Still round the corner there may wait
A new road or a secret gate,
And though we pass them by today,
Tomorrow we may come this way
And take the hidden paths that run
Towards the Moon or to the Sun.
Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe,
Let them go! Let them go!
Sand and stone and pool and dell,
Fare you well! Fare you well!

Home is behind, the world ahead,
And there are many paths to tread
Through shadows to the edge of night,
Until the stars are all alight.
Then world behind and home ahead,
We’ll wander back to home and bed.
Mist and twilight, cloud and shade,
Away shall fade! Away shall fade!
Fire and lamp, and meat and bread,
And then to bed! And then to bed!

Good morning.... Yes, we LOSTed. Below:

... Overall, I thought the developments with Jack and the others was an improvement. The "torture and capture you so you don't think I'm the enemy" concept is an approach I wouldn't recommend... But I at least like that they're giving us ~something~ about what their so far inexplicable motives might be.

Now... Apparently Sayid (and Sun and Jin?) came back but we get no conversation telling the group what the heck happened.

I'm glad we're back checking out the other hatch. I think the hatches and the Dharma Initiative are the most intriguing thing about this story.

And lastly why did we learn all that about Echo if they were just going to kill him?

...And I still don't get the two beach folks that have been suddenly foisted on us. They have given us no reason to give a durn about 'em. It's like someone won a "be on LOST" contest and so they're being stuck in certain scenes for no apparent reason.

Be nice to me. I am ~officially~ at my breaking point...

(And I'm just barely kidding, I can't take much more...)

Should I post something sweet but unhelpful, like Footprints in the Sand... or would that just send you over the edge? ;~)

Sorry Corin... Lighten your load where you can.

Well, after the election, you will have to explain it to me. And call me Jeb...

Sorry Corin... Lighten your load where you can...

Thanks. I'll be fine. My lifelong problem is that I care too much about stuff. It would be different if I just didn't give a rat's patootie.

But hey, chest pains and headaches aren't all bad...or are they?

I told the wife...to not just do what she typically does which is to say we should "pray about it" because 1) I know that and 2) not having done that or even having time to do that just causes me to stress out all the much more......

So, there's that.

;-)

I will officially be tied up in knots until ~at least~ 8:30 or so next Tuesday...then all bets are off.

I like that one, *but* it is half false. Diamonds don't come from coal. Therefore the only thing pressure does is turn an average person into a perfect basketcase.
